We Need Your Help.
Without public financial support, we simply cannot do the job of educating the citizens about what these measures are actually about.
It is sad we are in a time when “Strengthening Term Limits” is used to describe expanding 2 terms to 3 Terms. I am not sure, but I guess you are as sick at heart as I am at the state we are in now. False narrative, False claims, False advertising to get their way… seems like the new normal.
If we do not want to accept this upside down 1984 style governance, then now is the time to come up to the plate. We need at least 50.00 from each person to fight the $100,000.00 which the city has allocated out of your tax dollars to promote these blatant lies.
BBB gives the council and mayor 12 years in office… Do you want that? AAA takes away the power of the Auditor and allows the city to give the auditor their documents when they are good and ready and not one minute before. How do you trust this Government when they didn’t even tell you about the LUE? The only check and balance on the City will have no power of Immediate access… What would be the point of keeping the position?
The ethics commission will be chosen by the mayor and the city auditor. How can the city auditor audit a commission she appointed? One simply cannot do that. The redistricting commission will be selected by the ethics commission… Again, the auditor will not be able to audit that commission due to conflict of interest. So, who will watch this commission as they divide up the city for personal gain?
Please… I am begging you… Come to this fundraiser. If we do not stop this taking of our rights now, it will be too late. The next step will be a full-time council, Do we want more career politicians?

We need your bodies there, we need your voices heard and most critical now we need money… All of us personally have put our checking accounts on the line to buy signs and fliers, etc. But we are fighting a well-oiled and funded city machine that will overwhelm citizens with their custom made lies.
Only lots of education, lots of outreach and signage and tv broadcasts will stop this attack.
